Marine and River Litter Elimination New Approach

The company goals are:

a) Contribution to and re-establishment of natural environment, recovering of the environment and population, formation of an ecologic conscience and vision among all citizens;

b) Consolidation of all forces from Republic of Moldova with the view to assuring environment protection and rational use of natural resources;

c)    Promotion and support through different means the activities for nature protection and sustainable development; d) Development of joint cross-border projects in environmental protection, regional and tourism development, sustainable agriculture; e) Elaboration of the concepts and strategies regarding ecological education and training and contribution to implementation of theses programs. Activities of the company: a) Elaborates and realizes training programs in the area; b) Takes part to the creation of a flexible system for ecological training and education; c) Effectuates ecologic expertise with the participation of public, of projects, technologies and of other activities in the context of their impact on environment;

d)    Participates and organizes symposiums, conferences, seminars, meetings on problems dealing to cultural, natural environment and sustainable development;

e) Sensitizes public opinion towards environmental problems and spiritual ecology;

f) Participates to elaboration of bills, decisions, finalization of environmental juridical framework, harmonization of national ecologic legislation to world standards, preparation of public opinion and of decision factors in favor of ratification by Republic of Moldova of conventions, international agreements that vise environment;

g) Publishes literature in the field, institutes means of mass information, distributes information regarding ECC CAHUL activity through mass information means;

h) Contributes to implementation of collection informational network, systematizes and distributes environmental information, creates data bases by areas;

i) Facilitates free access to information and exploitation of the full accumulated informational stock in country and scientific institutions;

j) Collaborates with local public administration, non governmental organizations and business sector from inside the country and abroad. Membership: - Founder member of Cahul Business Center - Civil Society Forum from The Republic of Moldova - Member of Consultative Council under Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Moldova - Member of Danube Environmental Forum - CEEweb for Biodiversity Company resources: Human resources: 7 active members from different fields such as: environment, education, tourism, agriculture and science; of which 3 full - time employees (director, program expert, financial manager). The personnel hired by ECC CAHUL has a relevant experience of over 11 years in the field of researches, organizing seminars and conferences. The staff has a reach experience in successful implementation of different international, national and regional projects and organization of various activities at regional and national level. Other resources: office (rent) equipped with all necessary equipment and means for an efficient communication (computer, xerox, scanner, printer, tel/fax, and internet). At ECC CAHUL disposal there is also a car.
