Green Balkans together with Community Centre “Prosveta-1888”, Pomorie organizes a contest for children drawings “I protect biodiversity from pollution”, with an emphasis on Pomorie Lake and other wetlands in the Burgas region – lakes, swamps. The contest is organized in the framework of the project “Eco-Conscious Minds to Stop Pollution in the Valuable Wetlands of Black Sea Basin”, BSB142 BioLearn, funded by the Operational Program for Cross-Border Cooperation under its European Neighbourhood Instrument “Black Sea Basin 2014-2020”, performed by Green Balkans NGO – Stara Zagora.
The main aim is to enrich studentsknowledge about Pomorie Lake and other wetlands in the Burgas region – lakes, swamps and others, as well as to increase the responsibility, especially among the younger generation, regarding the protection of nature from litter pollution.
Who can participate?
Participants aged between 7 and 15 years.
Requirements:
Drawing – optional format;
Technique of the authors choice: tempera, watercolor, colored pencils, pastels and others;
The back of the drawing must have the following information: name, age, address of the participant.
What are the prizes?
Awards determined by a professional jury are provided for the selected participants. The drawings will be published on the Green Balkans website and the BioLearn project website.
